Why AI detection in schools will always fail

AI detectors don’t work and never will—schools need to stop trying to catch cheaters and completely rethink how they grade students. The solution is flipping the classroom: let kids learn with AI at home, but do all testing and assessment in person where teachers can monitor them. The real challenge is teaching critical thinking when AI makes it so tempting to skip the hard work that builds those skills.
