Arizona State University’s PERFORM Science and Technology Center is working with Dr. Srivathsan, Director of Cardiac Electrophysiology Laboratory, at the Mayo Clinic in Arizona to engineer low-cost wearable sensors to detect Coronary Artery Disease in its early stages. ASU’s Dr. Ayan Banerjee and Dr. Sandeep Gupta are helping to collect the data to answer the following question: “Can continuous mobile CAD (Coronary Artery Disease) risk assessment diagnose CAD incidence with a PPV of greater than 70% as compared to angiographic evidence?”
