This faculty-focused series will demystify AI and give educators a stronger understanding how AI works “under the hood”, allowing you to make well-informed decisions about the appropriate tools to use in their learning environments. Courses are offered both asynchronously and guided with office hours across 5 weeks.
Throughout this series, higher education instructors will learn about how AI systems work, consider important ethical implications for AI in education, and explore ways that AI can be applied to teaching and learning. These three pillars of AI literacy mirror the frameworks of the UF AI certificate programs and result in a micro-credential in AI in Higher Education.
