Key Points from the 2025 SAG-AFTRA Contract:
AI Rules: 48-hour notice and consent for Digital Replicas, 1.5 session fees per ad; Synthetic Performers pay 1.5 session fees to SAG-AFTRA for pension/health if used with humans.
Established Tools: Traditional digital methods (e.g., CGI) with AI are exempt if aligned with historical practices.
Wages & Fees: 5%, 4%, 3% wage increases over three years; new Paid YouTube rates, 24-month Maximum Period of Use.
Other Changes: 23.5% pension/health rate (19.95% for JPC authorizers), easier Testimonial Waivers, unified liability caps, Low Budget Digital Waiver until 2028.
